Author Guidelines
Procedure for Submitting Articles
By 29 February 2024, the author must submit electronically (alida.zigmunde@rtu.lv; ilze.gudro@rtu.lv) potential publication theses in English, which will be evaluated by the editorial board of the scientific journal within 15 working days. Guidelines for formatting thesis are available here.
By 15 March 2024, the author will receive a confirmation on the e-mail specified by the author that his work will be accepted for publication.
The author must submit the full scientific article in English (including illustrations, pictures, etc.) and the license for its publication electronically alida.zigmunde@rtu.lv; ilze.gudro@rtu.lv by 15 May 2024.
By 31 May 2024, the editorial board and reviewers evaluate the relevance of the scientific article.

Permissions
Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce anything (e.g. figure, table, text) that has been previously published or created by another person. On request from the Editorial Office or Publisher they should be able to supply evidence of such permission.
Authors' Warranty
All authors are responsible for ensuring that:
- the manuscript is their own original work, and does not duplicate any other previously published work, including their own previously published work;
- the manuscript has been submitted only to this journal; it is not under consideration or peer review or accepted for publication or in press or published elsewhere;
- the manuscript contains nothing that is abusive, defamatory, libellous, obscene, fraudulent, or illegal.
Non-compliance with any of the above conditions will be considered misconduct and dealt with accordingly.
Fees and Charges
The journal is not charging article submission, reviewing or publication charges for any accepted article.
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- The author must confirm by signature that the manuscript has not been previously published or has not been submitted for publication in another journal.
When submitting the manuscript, the author must check that it complies with the guidelines provided by the editorial board of the journal.
